No. Toolbelt Accounts is exclusively for trades limited companies operating in Surrey and Hampshire. Keeping our client base local helps us stay focused on the firms and market we are built to serve.

Am I tied into a long contract? +

No lock-in. You pay monthly and can leave whenever you like, though we don't think you'll want to.

I already have an accountant. Is switching a hassle? +

Not for you. We handle the full handover, speak to HMRC and contact your old accountant to collect your records. It usually takes one short call from you and nothing more.

Can you help me pay less tax? +

Yes, within the rules. The right salary and dividend split, claiming every allowable expense, and planning ahead of your year end all bring the bill down. It's part of the service, not an upsell.

Do you handle CIS? +

Yes. Contractor CIS returns, subcontractor verification and deduction statements are available as a fixed-fee bolt-on. The price depends on how many subcontractors are included each month and whether any catch-up work is needed.

What does full bookkeeping include? +

Company Plus includes one business bank account and up to 150 transactions per month; Growing Firm includes up to 300. Records must be supplied digitally and on time. Catch-up work, additional accounts, incomplete records and higher volumes are quoted separately before we start.

Which plan includes monthly numbers and job profitability? +

Growing Firm. Company Plus includes a quarterly tax and cash summary, while Growing Firm adds monthly management accounts, job-level profitability and cashflow forecasting.

What is Making Tax Digital? +

It's HMRC's move to digital records and online filing. If your company is VAT registered you already need to comply, and the rules are widening. We keep your records digital and handle the filing, so it stays a non-event for you.

Is the price really fixed? +

Yes. One monthly fee for what's in your plan. Any extras are priced clearly up front and only added if you say yes. No surprise year-end bills.
